This weekend (5 March 2016)  Disneyland Paris pulls out all the stops to create an incredible celebration of all things Welsh with the return of the St David’s Welsh Festival, and here is the programme for 2016.

A Welsh choir will perform a repertoire of traditional and popular songs including a Disney Medley with a special participation from the Urdd National Eisteddfod.

Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Jodi Bird to sing at Disneyland Paris

Welsh Festival 2014

A part of next weeks St Davids Welsh Festival being held at Disneyland Paris between 6 – 8 March 2015,  Welsh singer Jodi Bird will be performing the hit song  ‘Let It Go’ – in Welsh.

The 17-year-old performer from Penarth, who last year reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent when she performed the Disney hit in English, was offered the opportunity to sing at the resorts annual St David’s Welsh Festival after winning the musical theatre category at last year’s Urdd Eisteddfod in Bala.

Joining Jodi will be, Cadi Fflur Evans from Meidrim, Carmarthenshire, Alys Rebecca Thomas from Miskin and Cadi Lois Owen from Ammanford.

Jodi Bird  said: “I’ll be singing a Welsh version of ‘Let it Go’ from Frozen the Disney movie – I have translated the words myself into Welsh so I’m really excited to be singing my version in Disneyland Paris.”
