46,000 solar panels installed over Disneyland Paris guest parking lot.

After 18 months’ work, the first section of the Disneyland Paris Guest Parking solar canopy plant is now operational.

Over 46,000 solar panels have been installed, providing shade for over 7,000 parking spaces. They already generate 10 gigawatt-hours of electricity per year, which is enough to power a town of over 4,800 people

Once it’s completed in 2023, the Disneyland Paris solar plant will be one of the biggest in Europe, and will help reduce the Val d’Europe region’s annual CO2 emissions by 890 tons.
