69,000 Tokyo Disneyland Resort guests are camping out in the resort over-night after transportation in Tokyo was suspended after Japan was hit by a massive 8.9-magnitude earthquake.
Park guests have been evacuated to safe areas of the Tokyo Disneyland Resort to shelter over-night and have been provided with disposable heaters, plastic bags, and rain coats.
Local news in Japan is reporting that the liquifaction has ‘destroyed’ the Tokyo Disneyland car park and video shows some damage and large puddles.
Park Management has confrimed that the resort will be closured tomorrow and possibly the next day to enable inspection of the resorts attractions, structures, and utilities for damage. It has also been confirmed that no injuries were reported at the resort.
