Hong Kong’s Disneyland has said that it plans to partner with the Disneyland Paris to build the first Toy Story Amusement Park in Asia before the end of 2011.
In the summer of 2010, children around the globe watched the Disney-Pixar production Toy Story 3. On August 17, 2010 Disneyland Paris unveiled a mini theme park featuring Toy Story and with live performers imitating the movie.
Toy Story 3 took over USD900 million at the box office — making it the highest-grossing cartoon film ever.
Hong Kong Disneyland said it wants to follow the lead of Disneyland Paris and allow the movie’s Asian fans to enjoy a theme park.
